I've been working on the set of a new TV drama series today. The director was asked to shoot a scene twice - once with two of the cast looking dubious and concerned and surreptitiously disagreeing with the speech being delivered and the positive mood of the assembled company, then once with them joining in with all the rousing support for the speaker, showing affinity with the meeting. This was a last minute change to the script, intended to give 'editorial choice'.
